NOTE: Please let me know if any of these links are not working.

(1) The website that you are currently reading (webnotes).

(2) The Help system embedded in VS.NET

(3) Intellisensing within VS.NET

(4) Tutorials Jumpstart on Visual Studio and Visual Basic .NET

Takes you to the .NET frameworks community website where you can look at material on

Visual Studio .NET, Visual Basic .NET, .NET Framework and Tutorials

(5) You may find it helpful to go directly to a set of samples of VB, C#, and Jscript code.  This can

be done by clicking here.   Then click on the "Start the ASP.NET Quickstart tutorial" and under

"Getting Started" click on "Language Support."  If you want to go directly to the page you want,

      just click --> xxxxx.
(6) Startvbdotnet.com - a great place to go to get a review of all categories of information about VB.NET.

(7) Active Software Professionals (ASP) Alliance - another good place to go to learn new material,

      including VB.NET, ADO.NET etc.

(8) .NET Naming Conventions - don't get carried away -- see the section on controls (Section 12)

Visual Basic Resources
1. Deitel, H. M., P. J. Deitel, and T. R. Nieto, Visual Basic .NET, How to Program, 2nd Edition,
published by Prentice Hall.  ISBN 0-13-029363-6.  (The closest thing to a VB .NET bible.  A great
    reference book.)
2. Deitel, H. M., P. J. Deitel, and C. H. Yeager, Simply Visual Basic .NET 2003, An Application-
Driven Tutorial Approach, published by Prentice Hall.  ISBN 0-13-142640-0.  (This is just what
it says it is -- an Application-Driven Tutorial Approach.  It is not as useful for reference as Item 1.)
3.
Code Samples and Movies on "How to ... in VB"  Look for "101 Code Samples" and "VB at the Movies."
Click on the links or type the above phrases (one or other) into Search window and click GO to get to
    the same place.
-- You can access the 101 code examples by following the directions on this "home page".  If you
do this, note that after clicking on "download files below" you need to go to the bottom of the page
and click on the VisualBasic.msi link.  Be sure you know where your code will be placed before
you turn this loose.  You need a separate file in some directory you want to use to do this.

-- The movies are a bit advanced for you right now -- but they should not be by the end of the course.
